Experience that Counts
As a brand, Crimson made its debut in 2003 - but our heritage stretches back more than a century.
That was the year two respected manufacturers, Luverne Fire Apparatus and Quality Manufacturing, joined forces under a single, strong brand to form Crimson Fire. Luverne leveraged its early expertise in the automotive and heavy truck industries to begin building fire apparatus in 1912. Quality got its start six decades later, catering to the Southern firefighting market.
Crimson draws on more than 135 years of firefighting and emergency rescue experience
Their customers included some of the largest departments in the country - Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago - and some of the smallest. All benefit from the quality, value and innovation built into each vehicle.
Today, Crimson draws on more than 135 years of firefighting and emergency rescue experience to design and build a complete line of custom fire apparatus. Dozens of team members, from engineers to sales associates, have served in paid and volunteer departments. We're recognized by the industry as innovative.
Firefighting is in our DNA - and it shows.
